Since her first appearance as a cover girl for Muscle & Fitness Magazine in November 1994, Monica has gained momentum and remains at the top of the female fitness world, evident by her unprecedented national and international magazine exposure – over 100 covers and almost as many articles/interviews to this date with fans worldwide.

Competitively, Monica has acquired highly sought-after titles, such as the 1998 IFBB Fitness Olympia Champion and the 2010/2013 WBFF World’s Pro Figure Champion. She spent most of her professional career on stage successfully competing on ‘Fitness & Figure’ competitions. In addition to the stage appearances, Monica has trained for track and field events. Her efforts led her to acquire one of the top three spots of her age group in the USA for the 100m, 200m and 300m races (running 12.61, 26.02, 59.76) as well as the 'All American Awards' in each race.

Currently, Monica is an active business woman coaching, consulting, and helping others achieve a healthier lifestyle. As a fitness icon, she brings her knowledge and experience in the fitness/health industry to each and every one of her clients and audiences at her speaking engagements. She loves to make a difference in people's lives while helping them achieve their better-self.

June 10th and 11th, Monica will be hosting 'Body and Soul,' a retreat especially designed to empower women physically, mentally and emotionally.

For a hobby she fits in showing her American Quarter Horse ‘Storm’ in nearby AQHA show circuits.
